The stories in this section are mine, describing the ups and downs of devoting years of ministry to high risk children. The reasons they are high risk is ALWAYS the doing and fault of the selfish misguided adults in their lives.

I hope that the positive tales in this section will encourage those children to overcome whatever handicaps they have been dealt.

I also hope that the negative tales will show that whatever problem they are dealing with, there is always something to be grateful for and there is no problem that cannot be overcome with God’s will.

We will do all we can to maintain the privacy of the children and adults. That is why actual names are never used. The only people who will know the identity of the children and adults is myself and the specific people in the stories.

As to the adults, no matter how low, misguided, corrupt, addictive failure of an excuse for a human being they have chosen to become, there is always hope and redemption open to them…. always.

If the captain of a slave ship in the 1700’s, the lowest of the low at that time, could be redeemed and write the song “Amazing Grace”, then any of us can be reached.

Not to make that redemption road sound easy… it is a steep embankment to climb and a narrow road once you are on it, but the walk then is truly one of joy.
