I would like to say that John Teague is one of the most selfless people I’ve met. He has a heart of gold for sure. He gives and expects very little in return. He has given my family, my daughter, an opportunity that I would never be able to provide for her. A chance for a better, more enriched education. I am so very grateful for the support he’s given to her and so many others. It affords my daughter a chance to learn more at her pace. It’s giving her confidence and providing her with skills I don’t think would have been possible otherwise. She’s thriving because of John’s kindness and generosity. She’s met so many invaluable people along the way. John provides and enriches people in so many ways. I couldn’t be more grateful!

I am writing to formally recommend Johns Texas Youth Rescue based on my direct observations over the past year. During my time volunteering alongside John and the organization’s members, I have witnessed the profound impact that Johns Texas Youth Rescue has on the lives of young individuals in our community.
John ensures that each child can attend both church and an appropriate Christian-based school. He provides the necessary financial support for tuition and outfits, and he personally drives them to these critical institutions, ensuring they have access to both spiritual and educational guidance. Furthermore, John has employed a skilled horse instructor, recognizing the invaluable lessons that a horse program can impart. He is dedicated to ensuring that each child is fed, clothed, and equipped with the tools needed for respectful communication and personal development. They also celebrate birthdays, emphasizing the importance of acknowledging each child’s milestones.
The staff and volunteers at Johns Texas Youth Rescue are dedicated, compassionate individuals who exhibit an unwavering commitment to the youth they serve. John’s efforts represent a vital resource for our community, and they are making a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable youth. Therefore, I recommend this organization without reservation.
Should you have any questions or wish to discuss the work of Johns Texas Youth Rescue in further detail, please do not hesitate to contact me at lindsi.oliver@yahoo.com
Sincerely,
Lindsi

John works from sunup to sundown going all over the metroplex gathering furniture and items to sell in the yard sale in the rain, the cold or even 100 degrees weather so he can use that money for children that have little or nothing… He pays to put them in school and buys school supplies and clothes for school. He pays for birthday parties for children that may not get a single gift and takes them swimming and to places to have fun and even pays for music lessons and horseback riding and anything else that they would never be able to experience because the families could never afford it. And he doesn’t ask for anything in return except perhaps to help at the yard sale sometimes. I have never seen a man more caring or hard working! He is a good Christian man that puts God and these children first! The reason I know this to be true is because I am raising my grandkids alone on disability because my daughter was killed and their fathers are dead beat dads that don’t have anything to do with them, and John has not only stepped in to help us he has become a Godfather to them and teaches them as a father should teach their children when they have no father. I feel blessed just to know a man as good and kind as he is and I thank God every day for bringing him into our lives. He is a teacher of God and a mentor and anyone that knows John will tell you what a wonderful person he is and how much he gives of himself for the people that are blessed to know him. He is like an angel on this earth and I wish there were more people like him on this planet. He shows what Jesus wanted in all his ways and we love him so very much!!!

I donated goods from my home sale to John’s charity in 2022. John came to the house, and helped me load up useful goods for his charity. He shared plenty of stories about how my donation would help at risk youth. It was nice knowing my donation was going to help children through the charity that John runs. He was very passionate about his mission and I’m happy to have made a small impact.

John Teague is a good Christian man who does work for his community. Reaches out to help those children in need of help without wanting anything in return. Also, who gives his time. Who has traveled countless, miles rain or shine. To pick up merchandise. Also, to make deliveries with little help. people donate their time. He gives back to his community, by heaven one day a month, It’s called “free day” for all. Second, Saturday of every month for those who otherwise could not afford to buy. Including myself. I am a two-time Cancer survivor. With not much money. John has always helped me with some things that I need. Paying little to no money. Always feel welcome. And I saw him greeting people as they come in. He is truly a blessing to our community……

To whom it may concern.
I have known John Teague for over 25 years. We were both members of the First Church of the Nazarene in Mansfield, Texas. John had a very special gift. He loved children of all ages and has always cared about their health and welfare. He was the church youth administrator. He provided transportation, meals, clothing, and entertainment for these young kids at his own expense. In addition, he also provided a safe place to sleep. There are not enough people in this country who are willing to do what John has done. Please use me as a reference and feel free to call me at any time.
Thank you,

Dear John…. Thank you for letting us sleep over at your house, taking us to church, feeding us, doing activities with you and our friends but the most important thing I am thankful for is meeting you, because you showed me that just because there are rough times does not mean to not keep going… we have to move past it

Hey John just wanted to reach out to you, and tell you that we are praying for your continued success in working with children.. Alice speaks nothing but nice and respectful things about you and your character. If there is anything that we can do or write on your behalf, we will do it gladly. Thank you again for everything you have done and continue to do for my children and all of the other children you help.
Respectfully,
John Jones

To whom it may concern.
This letter is to commend John Teague for the work he has done in serving the kids of the Mansfield area. I served with John in the development and working of the Children and Youth groups in the Mansfield Church of the Nazarene from about 1997 to 2011. John became involved and really shined in leading the younger groups. He is very self sacrificing and goal oriented. He modeled Christian living not just at church times but he also spent countless hours off site in developing the growth of the kids through outings and service related works for others in need. He personally fought to hold families together and if there was separation such as divorce or conflict his goal was to first and foremost protect the kids then help the family and parents to allow them an ability to get back on their feet and care for their kids and learn of love in the way Jesus taught us to love.
I would not hesitate in any way to recommend him for any aspect dealing with kids in a Christ like manner. His desire to see success in the lives of those he serves is inspiring.
You may contact me as needed with any questions about his service.
